Holidays 8.30-5.30pm Monday to Friday (4 closure weeks a year)

All children should be accompanied by parents when on the school site before 8.50 am and after 3.30 pm to ensure their safety.
Doors are unlocked at 8.50 am so that children can hang up their bags and be ready at their desk to start their morning learning.
School starts promptly with registration at 9 am.
We close our school register at 9.15am. Any child arriving after this time will be marked as late.
Unexpected Closure
Very occasionally it is necessary to close the school due to bad weather, lack of heating, etc. The decision to do this is not taken lightly and is made for the health and safety of both pupils and staff. It is not possible to contact every parent individually, but once a decision has been made, Radio York and Minster FM are notified, as well as notice being made on the school website and parents contacted via ParentMail. If school has to be closed once the children are at school, parents/carers will be notified.
This means that it is important that you keep us up to date with your emergency contact numbers, even temporary changes. Children will always be kept supervised at school until the parent/carer arrives to collect them.
